Gretchen Fletcher
Gretchen Fletcher's poetry has appeared in The Chattahoochee Review, Pacific Coast Journal, Northeast Corridor, Inkwell, Appalachian Heritage, Pudding Magazine, Footsteps: A Journal of Contemporary Writing, About Such Things, and in the anthologies, Full Circle, A Summer's Reading, The Cancer Poetry Project, and Proposing on the Brooklyn Bridge: Poems About Marriage. Her poem, "The Sand Women," has been choreographed and performed by dance companies in Palm Beach and San Francisco, and others appear in datebooks published in Chicago by Woman Made Gallery.

She was awarded the Grand Prize in San Francisco's Artists Embassy International Dancing Poetry Festival, was selected as a finalist for the Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award, was awarded first honorable mention in Canada's lichen literary journal Serial Poet competition, and was named a Juried Poet at the Houston Poetry Fest. She is an Honorable Mention recipient in the Florida Individual Artists program.

Gretchen's personal essays and travel articles, have been published in Prevention Magazine, Sun-Sentinel, Miami Herald, Sunshine Magazine, The Lookout, Fate, Fan, The Catholic Digest, Mature Living, and an anthology, Travelers' Tales: Ireland.

Gretchen leads poetry and creative nonfiction workshops for the Council for Florida Libraries and for Florida Center for the Book, an affiliate of the Library of Congress.
