Project 1: Animal Pots

This two-part workshop will provide a good grounding in hand-building and glazing, covering pinch pots, coils and how to join clay, as well as dipping and painting glazes. Pots will be fired to stoneware temperature with food-safe glazes.

Project 2: Punch Rugs

Punch Needle is the art of threading wool through Monks Cloth to make
decorative wool pieces such as mug rug coasters, wall hangings, carpets, and
rugs. A rainbow of yarn will be available!

Project 3: Printed Textiles

Working with stock screens and cut stencils, experimenting with blending colours and creating colour separations and layers. Each young person will print two textile items of their choice.

Project 4: Cast Resin

Working safely with epoxy resin to create unique resin jewellery or key chains. Design and casting with resin, including tinting and embedding items, plus some basic jewellery making techniques.
